Relocation

Data Center Relocation & Migration Services

Moving a production estate is a chain-of-custody problem before it is a logistics problem. USACA Group plans, de-installs, transports and rebuilds data center environments with every asset tracked by serial from the old rack to the new one — and everything you do not take forward retired under R2v3 certified processes.

Who this service is for

Infrastructure and facilities teams consolidating sites, enterprises moving into colocation, cloud migration programs with residual hardware, and lessors relocating equipment between sites.

Audited facility moves: de-install, sealed transport, rack-and-stack rebuild and disposition of whatever does not travel.

What you receive

  • Migration runbook

A phased move plan with rack elevations, dependencies, cut-over windows and rollback positions agreed before anything is unracked.

  • Serialized asset tracking

Every asset barcoded and reconciled at de-install, load, unload and rebuild, so nothing is unaccounted for at any point.

  • Sealed, insured transport

GPS-tracked, seal-numbered vehicles with air-ride handling for sensitive equipment and documented seal breaks at destination.

  • Rack-and-stack rebuild

Equipment reinstalled, cabled, labelled and powered to the agreed elevations, with as-built documentation handed over.

  • Disposition of residual assets

Hardware not moving forward is data-destroyed, remarketed or recycled with certificates — no second project required.

How it works

A documented process, start to certificate.

  1. Step 01

    Survey & audit

Both sites surveyed, the estate audited to serial level and constraints on access, power and cooling documented.

  2. Step 02

    Plan & schedule

Runbook, phasing and cut-over windows issued and signed off with your change process.

  3. Step 03

    De-install

Equipment powered down in sequence, labelled, unracked and packed against the audit list.

  4. Step 04

    Transport

Sealed transport with custody documentation at every handover point.

  5. Step 05

    Rebuild

Rack-and-stack, cabling, labelling and power-on verification at the destination site.

  6. Step 06

    Reconcile & retire

Full asset reconciliation delivered, and residual equipment retired with destruction and recycling evidence.
