Infrastructure
The IT load is only part of a decommissioning. UPS systems, battery strings, PDUs, cooling units and containment carry real safety and environmental obligations. USACA Group removes facility infrastructure with trained crews and compliant downstream handling, documented to the same standard as the IT estate.
Facilities and critical-environment teams, landlords restoring building condition, programs closing or repurposing rooms, and operators replacing end-of-life power and cooling plant.
Safe, compliant removal of UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, cooling and containment with full environmental documentation.
UPS modules and battery strings isolated, de-installed and removed by trained crews under documented safety procedure.
Lead-acid and lithium batteries routed to permitted downstream processors with transfer documentation retained.
PDUs, switchgear tie-ins, CRAC and CRAH units and pipework disconnected and removed with trade support.
Racks, containment, ladder rack, trays and structured cabling stripped to the agreed building condition.
Weights, streams and downstream processors documented so the environmental position is auditable.
USACA handles UPS systems and their batteries as part of infrastructure decommissioning. Tell us the UPS models, battery type and quantity when requesting a quote; handling, transport and recycling requirements are confirmed at scoping.
How it works
Plant surveyed, isolation points confirmed and method statements and risk assessments issued.
Electrical and mechanical isolation performed with licensed trades and permits in place.
UPS, batteries, PDUs and cooling plant broken down and packaged for safe handling.
Material rigged out with floor protection and route planning to avoid building damage.
Batteries and regulated material sent to permitted processors; metals and plastics recovered.
Weights, streams, transfer notes and the environmental record delivered as one package.
