Data center ITAD

ITAD Services for Data Centers

Data centers retire assets at a scale and sensitivity that general ITAD programs cannot absorb. USACA Group runs rack-level, ticketed ITAD for colocation, enterprise and hyperscale environments — cage access protocols, on-site destruction options, serialized evidence and remarketing of every asset that still holds value.

Who this service is for

Data center managers, colocation providers, cloud and hosting operators, facility engineering leads and enterprise infrastructure teams retiring servers, storage and network gear inside production environments.

Rack-level ITAD built for live facilities: escorted access, per-serial evidence and settlement on the equipment worth reselling.

What you receive

  • Rack-level asset capture

Assets recorded by rack, U-position, make, model and serial before removal, so your DCIM and asset register reconcile line by line.

  • On-site or warehouse destruction

Drives destroyed in your facility before they leave, or under sealed transport to our warehouse — your risk tolerance decides.

  • Access and safety compliance

Badged crews, insurance certificates, method statements and ISO 45001 aligned safe-work practices for live floors.

  • Value recovery settlement

Current-generation servers, storage and optics are remarketed and settled back to you instead of scrapped by default.

How it works

A documented process, start to certificate.

  1. Step 01

    Site walk & scope

Rack counts, access windows, loading dock constraints and destruction requirements documented into a scope of work.

  2. Step 02

    Schedule & mobilize

Crew, tooling, packaging and transport scheduled around your change-control calendar.

  3. Step 03

    De-rack & capture

Assets de-cabled, de-racked and scanned to serial with photographic evidence.

  4. Step 04

    Destroy data

Drives sanitized or physically destroyed, logged per serial with method and operator.

  5. Step 05

    Recover value

Marketable hardware tested and remarketed; remaining material routed to certified recycling.

  6. Step 06

    Report & certify

Reconciled inventory, destruction log, settlement statement and certificates delivered.
