ITAD, Electronics Recycling & Data Destruction in Detroit and Michigan
USACA serves Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor, Lansing and Grand Rapids with business electronics recycling, IT asset disposition, data-center decommissioning and secure data destruction. This is a service area, not a USACA office or facility. Equipment is collected under documented chain of custody and processed at USACA facilities, where data-bearing media is destroyed by industrial shredding, with degaussing for magnetic media where required.

Service area. USACA provides services to qualifying commercial projects in Detroit & Michigan. Equipment is collected from your location and processed at USACA facilities.
Southeast Michigan's automotive manufacturers, suppliers and engineering firms retire CAD and simulation workstations, test systems, plant-floor IT and server rooms. Automotive programs often carry confidentiality requirements, so drives are serialized and destroyed at USACA facilities.
Ann Arbor and Lansing add university research computing, healthcare systems and state-government contractors, while Grand Rapids hosts a large data-center campus and a growing enterprise base in healthcare, furniture manufacturing and finance.
USACA runs one Michigan program along I-94 and I-96, combining Detroit, Ann Arbor, Lansing and Grand Rapids collections for multi-site organizations.
Organizations with surplus servers, networking, storage, CPUs, GPUs, memory or enterprise SSDs can request an equipment valuation. Valuation and purchase depend on model, specification, quantity, condition, location and current market demand — USACA does not purchase every asset. Pickups reviewed and confirmed
Commercial pickups start at one skid. Every request is reviewed by USACA, and timing, packaging and any cost are confirmed in writing before collection — pickup is not assumed to be free.

Documentation your auditors will accept.
Serialized reporting and Certificate of Destruction
Every data-bearing device is recorded by serial number, and a Certificate of Destruction is issued once media has been destroyed at a USACA facility. Photo or video evidence of destruction is available on request when arranged in advance.
Certified processing
Processing runs under R2v3, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certified procedures, with downstream material reporting available for environmental and audit records.
